These Fox News Special Report "center seat" interviews - questioning by 3 or 4 Fox News regulars - start off on TV, and then usually move online at 7PM EST - at the link above. I think these are pretty intensive & fair interviews; the last one with Gingrich was very informative. Hope Perry proves to the world he's not the idiot of popular caricature; he's my 2nd choice, if Gingrich should fall.

Perry wants the border secured, for one. He has used state money to do that because the Feds won't do their job there. (Obama hates Perry.)
I don't believe Governor Perry is unaware of "stealth Jihad" and you sure aren't seeing any sharia law being suggested here in Texas as has been in some other states.
The Muslim population in Texas isn't growing any faster than it is anywhere else. The thing is, our population is growing overall, largely due to the business-friendly climate, tax structures and healthy job market here.
Are you a Longhorn? ;-)
LOL! That’s new!
G’Night Dear FRiend! :o)
Texas has the eighth-largest Muslim population in the US. One of the top ten is more than other states Allegra. The following is cuase for concern and this is four years old...so I am not comfortable with Perry for this. Houstan and Dallas alone have 37 muslim mosques/community centers...which is troubling for me to imagine. Not to mention the organizations which are established in the state.
I’m not saying Texans want this...what I’m saying is Perry isn’t doing anything to deter this influx.. so what would he allow or encourage on a national scale if President? Especially given the research is in that 80% of these mosques and community centers distribute and harbor jihad literature and distriution of that material as well as guest speakers.
Houston has some 22 Islamic centers and mosques and a Muslim population of 57,000..... and Dallas has 15 centers and 30,000 Muslims..... The Muslim population is 4,000 in Fort Worth and 3,000 in Arlington. Austin and San Antonio each have 5,000, El Paso has 1,500, and there are small Muslim communities in Bryan-College Station, Corpus Christi, and Kingsville.
Among the more prominent Islamic organizations in the state are:.... the Muslim Students Association,... the Islamic Society of North America,... the Muslim Arab Youth Association,... the Islamic Circle of North America,... and the Al Quaran-Was-Sunnah Society.

And the second-largest overall population in the US, along with three cities in the top ten largest in the US. Naturally, we're going to run high in just about every demographic.
In other words, there's really nothing out of the ordinary in those numbers.
Michigan is a state that has a very high saturation of Muslims and you're seeing a lot of BS there such as Christians not being allowed to hand out pamphlets at local festivals and calls for sharia law in some communities.
You're not seeing anything like that here. Because of our size, there's always some bloviating liberal trying to trample Christians' rights, but you see very little success in those endeavors.
Case in point: The prayer meeting Perry participated in last August where the liberals screeched that as governor, he should be prohibited from attending. They even sued. And lost.
Good night, good FRiend! Sweet dreams!
It isn’t “Natural” for the muslim population to be growing as it is in ANY state Allegra...it’s with purpose and Texas is one of their chosen states for islamification of our nation...California, New Jersey and Florida as well.
Note all of these states have immigration issues and why the immigration issue for many isn’t just about other nationalities, such as the mexicans in your state, It’s becuase where there are these major immigration issues the muslims target those states.....because the doors are open or they wouldn’t be having those immigration issues in the first place...thus the muslims know it’s an easy “In”.
You don’t see “any of that” yet but I assure you it’s definately coming to your state. So you see it’s not just Texas and other states choosing to accomodate them...it’s they leave those states into other states to further “populate” other states... who do not want them....and that makes it a national issue not just a Texas issue.
These things will happen in Tezas...they are simply bidding their time...and recruiting/indoctrinating Texans to do their islamification of you states citizens as I write...especially appealing to them are those who have guns.
You really don’t have anything to back up all of your assumptions. It sounds more like a contrived justification.
And we already covered the “doors are open” bit. Be aware of whose responsibilities lie where.
I live here. I can see for myself what’s happening or not happening. I have also spent some time among the Muslims on their own turf and participated in numerous COIN briefs by those who know their stuff; this is not some alien subject to me.
However, I know hyperbole and hand-wringing when I see it. What exactly would Newt Gingrich do about these problems about which you are so concerned, just out of curiosity?
This isn’t about Newt Allegra...and I know you folks have difficulty understanding that some of us genuinely are looking for the right man for President...be it Perry, Newt , Backman or others....it’s just not a simple call when there is so much on the table to contend with and all issues are serious issues to our country. Let alone as things known and unknown about these candidates are revealed and trying to wade thru what’s truthful and not.
I f I’ve larned anything in this election it’s the hardest to determine which candidate will do the job of securing this nation fast on the skids....and the ground keeps shifting almost daily...as do the candidates potential and ability to address this country’s issues.
These are not at all assumptions I’ve come to Allegra...I have put time and effort to draw conclusions and looking fairly at all sides of these candidates and the issues we face. But if our nation isn’t “safe” from this islamic threat you can simply kiss the rest goodby as to any recovery at all sustainable.. for any time enough to stabilize our country.
I realize you live in and among...but it is not unusual those closest to often cannot see the trees for the forest... as you know. Especially if it’s an extremely hard thing to look at let alone accept. I myself have been in that position. It’s not comfortable nor is it easy.
I have no bone to pick with you as I do respect your opinions....but this about Perry is very concerning to me and why I posted it on the Perry thread...I didn’t come looking for an arguement...rather some reasoning he may have had behind his allowing the muslim population to grow and thrive in his state...other than those which really are more of a means to support him rather than getting to the bottom line here. That’s what I’m looking for...what is his reasoning on this and why it continues.
LOL - I'm in and out of my "forest" all the time. I have quite a healthy perspective, thank you.
...rather some reasoning he may have had behind his allowing the muslim population to grow and thrive in his state...
Every population has grown and thrived in this state over the past several years. We have gained four more electoral votes for the next election as a result. The reason you may be having difficulty grasping this concept is because your state is decreasing in overall population and I believe you lost an electoral vote off of the last census.
What would you suggest Perry, as a state governor who has no input to immigration quotas established by the Feds, have done about this which you are so concerned?
Nothing personal, but when I see hyperbolic comments such as Perry is "snuggling up" with the Muslims, I'm going to call you on that as well as on the watery data you use to support such a statement.
I'm not some malleable simpleton who's going to be swayed by whizbang tactics. And I will make this about Newt.
What is his plan for solving this problem about which you are so concerned? Just ever so curious.
Oh, and perhaps it's time you took a refresher on the US Constitution.
As much as I despise everything Islam stands for, the US cannot deny people entry based on religion. They can do so on criminal background or proven terrorist associations, but not on religion alone. Being that there are quotas established for the number of emigres from select countries, it is natural to see these population increases.
And if you can legitimately blame this on Perry somehow, I'll shake your hand and give you a Havana cigar.
Amil Imani Governor Perry's Islam Connection No matter how I tried, I couldn't reach the conclusion that this inclusion promotes Islam or is pro-Sharia. It seems that the mere fact that Islam is included in the curriculum represents supporting it. And with regard to the concern that the education curriculum Perry promoted is pro-Arab and against Israel, the evidence is exactly the opposite.
Perrys Pro-Sharia Curriculum DebunkedThe back-and-forth within the anti-sharia community about whether or not Rick Perry is a fifth columnist candidate continued this week, with Center for Security Policys Dave Reaboi and Ace of Spades both coming to Perrys defense.
At Counter Contempt, David Stein also analyzed the controversial Muslim history curriculum Perry helped coordinate in Texas, and skewered the idea that its a pro-Sharia program. You can comb over the whole plan here, but here are a few excerpts:
1. Countries of Western Civilization have secular governments, which means great toleration of cultural and religious differences.
2. Countries of Islamic Civilization for the most part either have religiously dominated governments or demands to make them more religious, which mean less toleration of cultural and religious differences.
3. Muslims often lack respect for Western traditions and points of view. The Muslim relationship to the West is colored by the belief that Western beliefs [whether Christian or atheist] are defective and therefore inferior to Islam.
Bump to Post above.
Yes! They didn't want to touch the subject. Also, I thought they were nervous when he talked about limiting the amount of time Congress is in session. It seems no matter which side they are on they sure don't want to touch the status quo.
I want a presidential candidate who is unafraid of the stealth jihadists in our midst, and who will vow that he will clean out the infiltrators......
In Texas you have “36” Fethullah Gulen Charter Schools run by the ‘Fethullah Gulen’.. who is an Islamist imam who believes in Sharia law......He and his followers are attempting to indoctrinate OUR American “SCHOOL CHILDREN” into Islam through an entire network of charter schools using our taxpayers dollars to do it. Mesta Machine has volumes of history about the dangers of this man and his followers.
This is all a part of the islamification of America thru stealth jihad and indoctrination of our children via “their educational programs” on islam of which Perry certainly appears to have gotten on board with...and his reasons seem to be the revenue's and benefits these multi-billionare muslim leaders offer for his state, but it's always conditional that islamic teachings be permitted in the school systems.. their teachings, mosques and community centers within the states they've targeted.
These are established NOT to assimilate their members to the community but to make certain they do not assimilate...not to mention the agenda to convert Texans to islam so that they do the work of converting the Texans for them...and that is happening in your state as I write.
I have reasons for concern of Perry being President of our nation if he intends to utilize these same muslims for revenue gain while meeting their conditions which we don't want in our nation.
islam is not a religion...it's political in its agenda and nature, masked as a religion in order to keep it's members in submission and to further their political islamification of all countries that host them...that's historical and has not changed.
It's a totalitarian fascist ideology and totally opposes our constitution. Furthermore the idea of claiming racial issues with muslims is false in every way because 'muslim is not a race'...yet they argue this in our courts.
Perry has continued to assist muslims in locating to Texas via his business ventures with muslim investors....and they in turn even have web sites which encourage other muslims to immigrate to your state for the freedom they have to wage their agenda.
... ... This overflows then to other states Allegra..and it's more than uncomfortable to consider what Perry would do as President if he taps these middle east investors to build up our nations job and workforce issues by establishing their companys and their dollars to do so.....it's never without conditions that islam be incorporated into those deals..in our schools and communities. And reason to be more concerned about what he will do to carry out his promises to restore the work environment here...the way he has done so in Texas...
This is a Perry thread and I’d be more than happy to discuss Newt on a Newt thread...I told you why I raised my concerns on this thread...and they are genuine concerns...and my comment about the forest thru the trees was equally genuine and not meant to allienate you by any means..it is a fact that this happens when people are to close to an issue...and fair to show that concern.
Equally as much I am aware of where Pa. stands and why they are in the mess they’re in. Again on a thread about their issues would be appropriate rather than play tit for tat which I’m not interested in doing on a Perry thread.
Rather I want some answers such as why didn’t Perry want to sign the law opposing Shariah Law in Texas which was presented?....Will he take his ways and means of how Texas operates to our nation with regard to how he works with the muslim community in TExas....these are fair questions...as has been said the USA is not just Texas...
From what I’m hearing from Perry he wants states to make those distinctions.....but even so will he establish federal laws which will override those states/ Many questions as he’s not been clear yet.
Thanks.
I'm done with that conversation.
I don't trust people who have so many "concerns." Plus, I'm weary of correcting the deliberate misrepresentation this one insists on continuing - that's just game playing.
That poster is solid Newt anyway, but won't promote him - only wants to tear down other candidates with stretched truth and innuendo. {YAWN}
