Rick Santorum
Rick Santorum ^

I took this quiz, and I was 92% in favor of Rick Santorum for president, which surprised me. It's a short, twenty question quiz.
My question, we're going through all the candidates, will we give Santorum his day in the sun?

There is something wrong with the quiz. I answered every question I could with the most Libertarian answers (not attacking Iran, being for civil unions, etc) for fun and it gave me Newt, Santorum, and Romney as 1, 2 3.

I prefer Rick Santorum to Pat Toomey, thats for sure.
We'll put you down in the 'Arlen Specter wasn't such a bad guy category"
C'mon and give your head a shake Lancey, Specter is the same sort of scum that Romney is, and Toomey may indeed have made some missteps, but the bottom line is and was: "he ain't Specter", but Sanatorium persisted in supporting Specter.
Even in a world inhabited by snakes crawling around your boots, you stomp on the one that is the most poisonous, and that should have been Specter.

How do you feel Now taht Conservative Toomey on the Super committee announced their plan to cut all income tax deuctions including to Charities, home Mortgage, etc to those Making 174,400 dollars and Married couples making around 213,000 dollars? To top it off they Exempt themselves, Congress people only make 174,000 dollars. Toomey the Conservative making Obamas Case!

You really think that so-called 'Super Committee' is going anyplace?
Riddle me this Batman, would you rather have Arlen Specter sitting in that seat?

“Nice deflection.”
I am not trying to deflect anything. I was just discussing the issue of endorsements, how much weight to give them, and was interested to know if any other candidates had similarly endorsed bad candidates.
No need to make it an argument.

But did you take the quiz just to make sure?
I did. The results were strange. Santorum was second to Fred Karger. A close third was Gary Johnson. I guess I will just have to go with what the poll told me.

lol. Mine had Paul first, Newt second, then Santorum and I think my man Gary Johnson was next, just barely ahead of Cain.

Oh it is much more than an 'endorsement', in the case of Sanatorium and Specter it was a choice between providing support and actual allegiance to a dirtbag RINO-traitor like Arlen Specter, and a GOP candidate that was clearly FAR better and more conservative than Specter who proved his utter worthlessness by making his turncoat ways official and defecting to the 'Rats.
Other candidates in THIS primary race are not the issue, the issue is Sanatorium's fecklessness.

Of Course Not,but there is not one pure Candidate in this race on the Conservative side that is getting any traction.
Every one has been pecked to death, except Romney,so who would YOU rather have Santorum or Romney?

It isn't a question about a choice between Sanatorium or Romney. Rick isn't going anywhere except to some statist retirement home when he finally realizes his political career is over.
Romney is absolutely unacceptable. If the GOP nominates that sleazy used car salesman, it guarantees 0bama's re-election and THAT my FRiend is not on you, or me, it is on the GOP or whatever will be left of it.
If we end up with a deadlocked convention, they might as well draft Sarah Palin.
She would not refuse.

That’s why all these candidates surge, we figure them out, then recede back into the pack. It’s clear the media wants Romney. I can’t stand to back another rino. I will, if that’s the case, anyone but obama, but I’m so sick and tired of holding my nose. It’s really a shame none of the true conservatives had thrown their hats in. Paul Ryan, Sarah Palin etc. would have run circles around obama. Ryan really disappointed me. I would have PPV’d that debate with obama.
Thanks everyone for your input. I really appreciate it.

No, but what the report says is that he called himself a “progressive conservative” in his campaign manual and that he had a position paper in which he limited his opposition to abortion only to the “time a fetus is considered viable” which is the final three months of pregnancy. According to the news report, this position paper was “quietly withdrawn” from his campaign.
