nstead, a better approach would be like what schiff did.

The cops were under orders from bloomie. I’ve spoken with a few NYPD’s who would have loved to clear that park out sooner.
However, they were under orders NOT to.....until the time came to do so.
And they did a damn good job. Many NY’ers went up and thanked them for a job well done.
