The key American ‘diplomat’ involved in the setting up of the UN after WWII was Alger Hiss who turned out to be a Stalinist agent. Enough said. The chief mission of the UN today is to secure its own self-perpetuation. If it were abolished the global situation would immediately begin to improve.

IMHO...

It’s time to say buh-bye to the U.N. It’s long overdue.

It never should have been created.

What’s most insanely stupid is that the U.S. felt a need to get involved in any such organization after WWII - when we had become the dominant superpower and had absolutely no need for anything remotely like it.

It offered only a chance for politicians and diplomats to do what they do, corrupt backroom international politics.

It’s patently idiotic to fly in the face of historical fact and think that an international union of nations-type organization can prevent wars.
