By the way, I didn’t say I oppose Cain and others going on shows ‘like’ this. I don’t have any problem with that. But I do single out Letterman (and Maher) as being worthless, sub-human filth, whom conservatives should totally shun at all costs.
Ages ago, I actually used to like Letterman. Back during his NBC years. Watched him almost every night. My sister even got me one of those “Top Ten” books of his as a birthday present. Letterman got pretty unwatchable after the switch to CBS, and his bitter lefty side took over. But it was that ‘rape’ joke he directed towards Palin’s 13-year-old daughter, and the following insincere, sarcastic ‘faux’ apology he made, that finally did it for me. I’ve never wanted to personally reach through the tv-screen and throttle someone so much. The guy is just pure garbage, and I can’t wait for the day I read his name in the obiturary.
Agreed. Not sure why Conservatives still appear on his show every now and then.
RE: post # 38, what you said. I won’t comment on whether or not it was smart for Herman to go on that show, but I refuse to watch that a-hole Letterman ever since his statutory rape joke about Willow Palin.
I used to watch Lettermen too, eons ago.
To me in this case he appeared as a tool and a jerk, but Cain scored way more points than Lettermen.
Cain got some talking points out, improved his image and got more name recognition.
He also slapped down the number of women to 2, and media and rats heard him. I also think that is a good thing, assuming he is being truthful.
