In some respects, Newt is more liberal than Romney, if you take the time to analyze some of his past performances. He sided with Hillary on Health Care and, of course, he joined Nancy Pelosi in “the fight” against man-made global warming.

Sure, he is the best debater and he would destroy Obama in any matchup, but debates alone, don’t win an election.

Your description of his stance with Hillary and health care is misleading. He led the Contract with America election in 94 which was a repudiation of Hillary Care.

That they agreed on some points later on is a bit unnerving, but your explanation is not accurate.

And don’t forget him going on an Education Tour in 2009 with Al Sharpton and Arne Duncan to support Obama’s education policies.

And advocating the individual mandate for purchase of health insurance even after he’d entered this race — walking it back ONLY after conservatives severely punished him for it.

And . . . the list goes on.

I do not agree that the fact that Newt is a great debater should determine who our nominee is.
