His so called surge ended with 2 million given him to help blow up the housing market. Millions more to come from different lobbying efforts.

Newt’s rise will continue because every time he speaks he takes on the media and Obama in the same sound bite. Of course he is the smartest Republican candidate with loads of ideas. If he stays disciplined we could see Obama and Gingrich debating next fall.

our craving for someone who has this ability in light of the inarticulate Bush-McCain years
Yes!
That's what the Newt-bashers here in FR don't get when they cut'n'paste all kinds of internet sh*t about his past.
I DON'T CARE.
I want to see Newt shred Obama, and then go on to shred the media.
I want to see it.
I'll pay to see it.
I will pay a LOT to see it.
Perry can't do it.
Cain can't do it.
Bachmann can't do it.
Romney can't do it.
Paul can't do it.
Huntsman can't do it.
Santorum can't do it.
Only Newt can do it.
It needs to be done. We NEED it to be done.

I’m not sure that will make a dent.

Looks like Romney isn’t the only gop candidate attempting to hoodwink conservatives into supporting him.
Just say no to Newt... you fickle Republicans.

Get real. You know why some people don’t want Newt. He has sold them out before and we don’t want to lose our country.

Corrupt RINO lobbyist with multiple divorces and adultries.
Where do I sign up?
Gingrich shoulda run when he was popular, before he turned RINO, that was 1996.
To: samtheman
We are also tired of pretty speeches when they don’t mean a word of it.

Yup. Newt is giving conservatives ready to vote in the primaries the speeches they want. Just like he gave DC what they wanted in exchange for millions and acceptance with the liberal Establishment. He doesn’t mean a word of it.
To: freekitty
Ok, fine. I’m not asking you to vote for Newt Gingrich.
I’m not asking anybody here in FR to consider voting for Newt Gingrich. Not a single, solitary poster.
But I will donate to him, work for him (if he’s still viable and in contention at the time of the NJ primary) and definitely vote for him myself.
I have decided that.
I have also decided not to try to push him here in FR. You’ll get no argument from me.
I understand that you don’t like him and I accept that.
To: Raebie
Not 100%...but Newt is looking good.
Oh, and he is a human. Dang. We must get over that.

How about a Newt/McCain ticket ? Maybe Newt/Dole. Heck lets bring bush back. Some want to see O beat up in a debate. I want him voted out. It will take more than a geezer wind bag to do it . Capt insano showed us that and he had a real VP option.

At least we fickle Republicans realize there is a political party that provides support and discipline but needs to be disciplined itself.
If Newt wins I vote for him.
Anyone but Obama!
