BTW..Marie Callander’s Frozen Turtle Pie ( takes an hour to thaw out) is THE BEST~~~~~!I tell everyone I made it. ..and then put it in this little tin pan. ha.
Thanks for telling me about the turtle pie. I don’t think I’ve seen it in the stores we frequent (Dollar General, Save A Lot). I’ll look closer next time we go to Walmart; or try Kroger and Food Lion. - I generally don’t care for any sort of meat in pies; but like the mincemeat ones, will have to get over the “turtle” thing. Have had turtle soup once when husband caught a big snapping turtle in our pond.
