Chattanooga Police are still investigating an attempted robbery and shooting that occurred Thursday morning at 4409 Drummond Drive. Calvin McGhee called police immediately after the shooting and said that two black males attempted to rob him as he was leaving for work. The two men pulled guns on McGhee. McGhee then pulled his own gun and fired at both suspects, hitting at least one of them.
McGhee describe the suspects as two young black males wearing all black clothes. One was believed to be at least 6 feet tall and the other around 507. Moments after the call was reported to police, responding officers were advised of a shooting victim whod just shown up at a local hospital. The victim seemed to match the physical description of one of the suspects described by McGhee.
The shooting victim was identified as 25-year-old Brandon Foster. He is being treated for a gunshot wound to the abdomen which do not appear to be life threatening. Investigators are working to verify that Foster is one of the involved suspects and trying to determine who the other suspect is. McGhee was not injured in the incident and no charges are expected to be filed against him.
Isn’t the normal LSM meme for something like the following: “Attempted robbery goes horribly wrong”?
POW!
That’s really going to ruin his Thanksgiving.
The speed increase generally won't save you, but if the initiator did not fully commit to draw and fire it does give you a chance. Lucky the victim here made sure he wasn't.
two black males

Not in East Tennessee. we appreciate it when a citizen takes one or more of the vermin out of the cycle.
