My husband bought one for me - at least he calls it “your shotgun” but after shooting it in the CA desert one time, I wasn’t interested in continuing.

Common mistake we guys usually make in wanting to be helpful and shopping for our wives' first gun. Either too much or too little. You need to go along, handle them, shoot them if possible and pick it out. Either that or it's cover to buy a few more for ourselves when trying to *look* helpful ;-)

I didn’t know you knew my husband.

It would have been my “first” shotgun but I’m pretty well covered with others; revolvers are favorite - never automatics. I don’t like jams.
