Picture this:::: the house is dark, the bad guy got in though a window in the kitchen, he heads down the hallway to find the master bedroom and as he gets to the bedroom door, he hears that trusty old shot gun being racked, granny is behind the bed that is between the door and granny. Now does he run, crap his pants, does both or is stupid enough to take another step and meet his maker...

The only bad part is the clean up, if he doesn't run, must be done by professionals. I ain't cleanen up that mess...At 10 foot I think I couldn't miss, hell I wouldn't even have to be a good aimer...GG

Granny, only difference in your scenario and mine is, I will be aiming a .45 single/double action and the perp will not know what’s comin’ ... I don’t want the scoundrel running away. I want him carried away so he can never do it to anyone else. I’m an old toot, so I’ll take my chances to do social work.

BTW, please aim, ‘cause even at ten feet the shot pattern is no larger than the mouth of a tea cup, unless you’re firing a blunderbuss.

Eliminate the cleanup hassle. Use bullets that absorb 6000 times their weight in blood.
