Spin it anyway you want. Newt’s own words, votes, policies, etc. are out there showing he is just as much a big government supporter than the Dems.

Gingrich on video from 7:00 to 25:07 - Overall immigration to make it as inexpensive and easy as possible. Goal as president to have all illegals in the country now be American citizens within 5 to 10 years. Much more.

The website means nothing....keep your enemies closer kind of thing.
Ok, What I heard on the video was actually a plan...common sense plan. He said that he did not want Amnesty, he wanted to make sure that when we send back the felons- Mexico put them directly in jail, he said deporting 11+ million people won't work without categorizing them (adults/kids/educated/drugs addicts, etc), he did not want to allow illegals to apply for citizenship 'before' people who are already in line, 'didn't' want the federal government to run this illegal problem (give to visa, MC or AMex), said the comprehensive plans to categorize each type of illegal (educated kids, adults) will speed up the process of deporting or allowing the ones who went to college and were hear as kids to apply for citizenship legally... and to clean up the visa process to make the immigration process faster and easier to disuade illegal activity.
