He was doing history for Freddie Mac. That is what this statement means. The company (Freddie) explains what Gingrich was doing:
"develop an argument on behalf of the companys public-private structure that would resonate with conservatives seeking to dismantle it"
Gingrich was supposed to find out and tell the story of what Freddie had been up to in a way that conservatives could understand and, hopefully, appreciate.
There is no lie here at all.
Besides, if this is the best they can come up with, then bring on Manny Pacquiao
“I see no lie by Gingrich.”
This makes me crazy. Free Republic is where I go to see how like-minded folks around the country are reacting to, and what they’re saying about, the great crisis of our time. Naturally they’re attacking each other’s preferred candidates. Exactly what we love seeing libs do amongst themselves. It seems as though the Obama drive against our liberties and property is universally hated, but that’s expected. The “special” hatred comes out when our various opposition candidates are vetted.
I haven’t had time to absorb info. and decide who I like best on our side. Cain is the black man with enormous private sector success who would expose the lie about conservative “racism” being what holds minorities back (true decendant of actual southern slaves. Gingrich is likely the most articulate conservative candidate in my lifetime. Perry, Romney, etc., I have less to comment on except (among other factors) good people seem to like them and they’re not the current person soiling the seat in the Oval Office and working against the good of the country. And humantiy, for what that’s worth. Appreciate your post.
