Haven't we been here before?
Everybody has their favorite. No problem there.
But way to many not only have their favorite, but deem every other candidate entirely unacceptable, and feel it is their mission to destroy the other candidates by any means necessary.
That is what gave us McCain in 2008. And it could well give us Romney in 2012.
This is exactly what I've been thinking almost from the beginning. The GOP has a group of uninspiring and perhaps even unqualified candidates all wanting us to elect him/her as our nations next President. I have become so disheartened and in some cases disgusted with our choices on the right side of the aisle.
I was supporting first Palin and then Bachmann but as they were taken out I said okay, let's see, I might be able to get behind Cain even though he was far from my ideal candidate but at least he was palatable. But now? Newt, sorry I can't stomach this all over the road RINO. Sorry but I can no longer believe much anything he is says anymore. Sure he is the smartest guy in the room but one I dare not trust with my dog.
One thing is for certain, I will vote but it will not be for the Demoncrat that's for sure and at this rate it won't be for any of the lackluster, uninspired and non-talented Republican candidates remaining. If Sarah doesn't get back in then I'll be saying hello third party candidates I'm now looking at you all. You ain't got a chance of winning but at least my conscience will be clear.
