BETTENDORF, Iowa - An early copy of Republican presidential candidate Rick Perry's government reform speech shared with the Des Moines Register shows the Texas governor is planning to propose widespread changes for the federal government, including term limits on federal judges and Supreme Court justices, a part-time Congress, and laws criminalizing insider trading.
The governor first previewed the reforms in a speech Monday evening at an event by the Scott County Republican Party, where he said, "Washington doesn't need a new coat of paint, it needs a complete overhaul." Today, he will deliver the details of his plan in a speech at the Schebler Manufacturing facility.

Perry loves shoveling populist mush for votes and will
circumvent constitutional requirements in a heartbeat if
he thinks he can get away with it, like he does in Texas. Wish we could get that on a tee shirt.

La Raza Rick is growing more desperate in his attempts to pull his failing candidacy out of the gutter and it attempting to tap in to the unfavorability rating Republicans have with the current congress. Epic Fail.

La Raza Rick is growing more desperate in his attempts to pull his failing candidacy out of the gutter.... I just can't wait for his million dollar ad buy on Fox. The more voters see him, the further he sinks into oblivion.
Problem is he doesnt have an exit strategy---either Mama Amelia gets a sudden heart attack...... or Anita gets a rare disease that only Merck has a vaccine for.

Yer a nasty POS, in case you didn’t already know it. For some reason, your bullshit is tolerated on this forum.

Problem is he doesnt have an exit strategyHe had better find one soon before his numbers drop below that of Wrong Paul (they're only 2.6 percentage points apart).

Perry's contempt for voters, and for the US system of govt, is unrelenting. He operates like this in Texas, as well----dangling "secession anytime we want to" in front of trusting Texans that he knows can never happen.
While I agree somewhat, he's only dangled the secession thing once, and he immediately came out and said he would never support secession and is opposed to it.
