STATE COLLEGE, Pa. — Close to 10 additional suspected victims have come forward to the authorities since the arrest of the former Penn State defensive coordinator Jerry Sandusky on Nov. 5 on 40 counts of sexually abusing young boys, according to people close to the investigation. The police are working to confirm the new allegations.
The news of additional accusations came on a day when Sandusky made his first extended public comments since his arrest, and the resignation of the chief executive of the Second Mile foundation, the charity founded by Sandusky, was made public. They were the latest developments in a case that has led to the ouster of several top university officials, including the football coach, Joe Paterno, and the president, Graham B. Spanier.

Sandusky isn’t a Michael Jackson.
Why comment that both saw you, if you had stopped it, it would be a redundent statement.
Had he stopped Sandusky that would have been part of the narrative.
What's the difference?
Not regarding what Sandusky was doing, that doesn’t change.
Do you mind if people are able to form opinions outside of court, or do we have endure lectures from those who think we are not able to do so until after the trial?
There will plenty who were, this guy has been doing this for years.
He sold his soul for a mess of pottage.
Why would he risk saying such a thing to Petrano?
Moreover, this isn't the only charge made against Sandusky, who likes to shower with young boys.
This guy had a history of these acts.
Petrano is in on the coverup.
It sounds from the transcripts that was not aired that he is admitting to seeking out some of the boys for sexual needs. By saying that he didn’t seek out every young person for sexual needs he is admitting that he did seek out some, correct? Why wasn’t that part aired? That’s a bombshell!!
So Sandusky found someone who is willing to claim they were in the shower with him, but there was no rhythmic slapping of wet flesh against wet flesh, and no anal sex - despite McQueary’s testimony.
Color me unimpressed.
Color me disgusted at those circling the wagons around this sick bastard.
Of course he has and he needs to be punished for each and every one of them. All I am saying is there are Allreds of the world who are like pimps and they don’t care whether a crime has been committed as long as they can profit from a situation.
Sandusky was a counselor for a camp that deals with troubled kids. By law he has to attended training and has signed forms stating that he knows what is and isn't against the law.
If he was observed naked, showering with naked boys and “horsing around” with them. He would be terminated, the police would be called in to investigate and all parents whose children attend the program would be notified.
The fact that that wasn't even done at the bare minimum shows to me cover-up has taken place.
We at freerepublic understand the Constitution and understand that this is not a court of law. This is a discussion forum where the we discuss topics and news stories.
Is your premise that legal issues should not be discussed until a juries verdict is read?
Would you feel better if we placed a disclaimer on each post that states “All accused are innocent until proved guilty in a court of law”?
