Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain was asked a simple question by the editorial board of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel: "So you agreed with President Obama on Libya, or not?" The response, nearly five minutes long, is painful to watch:

Pathetic.
The Newbots and Perrybots have decided to tag-team Herman since they smell blood. Personally, I think it’s there blood they smell.
“Did you watch the video? it is horrendous.”
I watched the video. At first he was determining what the subject was, then he paused to think about it for a short time, then at 1:47 in, he responded in a well thought out manner. Did you watch more than the first few seconds?
you study and make yourself aware of what is happening...via consulting people like John Bolton, Condi Rice or others...dont just twist around and reach for an answer IF you want to be in charge of our troops
Ok, that was painful to watch. Cain just doesnt have the clarity or knowledge on foreign policy. The next few years are going to be critical as far as foreign policy is concerned.
sometimes a commander in chief doesnt have time to seek a lot of advice. If that phone rings at 3 am and the alert is sounded...he better be damn ready and ready fast
Too simple a question, to be correct. It was a ‘tripper’.
Did someone have to clue him in on how many states are in the United States? No? Not as dumb as 0bama.
Cain is married to a liberal AND Cain received a donation from the epa when he ran for Senator in Georgia
What blunder? He did fine. I agree that, lacking the information privy only to a president, it’s impossible to assess the situation. And I think it’s a very important point he makes about the opposition. In this case, we SUPPORTED AL QAEDA and allowed terrorists to get control of 20,000 heat-seeking missiles. Insane is too generous a word for the way we handled Libya.
If Cain debates Obama ...he will need some consultants on hand.
Does anybody here know what President Obama's policy on Libya really was?
Anybody?
I know I never figured out what his intentions actually were.
He may have been..he had some health issues and is a cancer survivor...so, he may be on some prescribed meds.
Then you can go directly to the front page of Malkin's site where she says pretty much the same thing:

The real Cain scandal: Video cringe alert
It has nothing to do with anything Gloria Allred has her hands in.
Its his continued lack of preparedness on, and familiarity with, basic domestic and foreign policy issues. Sorry, Cain fans. Tried to give him the benefit of the doubt. But like Rick Perry, Herman Cain is just not ready for prime time.(more)
Cain’s sinuous delivery proved valid concerning the nature of the so-called rebels fighting the al-Qaddafi regime. Cain could have directly addressed the issue of circumventing Congress, and the subordination of US resources to NATO, but they were not issues excluded to the point he made regarding executive level decisions.
The ridicule is childish and unwarranted.
No self-respecting Conservative should accept this anti-Cain bait. Piss be upon the insiders.
This is completely overblown. Cain was absolutely right to say that he would have accessed the opposition in Libya better and would have withheld his decision based on who would replace Gaddafi. And I would bet 95% of GOP primary voters didn’t know that federal employees couldn’t collectively bargain. I would either. Besides, what does it matter? Cain is still going to cut 10% across the board, another 10% after that, balance the budget, advocate for energy independence, etc.
I support Cain, because we need to send a strong message to the Washington elite that their inside-the-beltway RINO appointees comes to an end in 2012. Herman Cain is the ultimate outsider, not a phony outsider. I trust Cain, because his instincts are RIGHT. I trust Cain, because he is not a BS artist like Gingrich, and Romney. They pretend to to be conservatives, but their history shows otherwise. Cain has led and been very successful at it. Cain 2012!!
