Those are typical 4th of July type fireworks and low grade industrial masks/respirators, and firecrackers seen in the imaage you can hold in your hand and light.
These guys might be total idiots, but terrorist they are not.
If they exploded the bell jar by an explosive in a populated area, they could be charged under terrorism laws. If they did it in an empty cornfield, probably not, unless it was a test for future acts of terrorism.
It will be interesting to find out what else they are spilling to save their sorry asses from hard federal time.
