“Was he forced to join a fraternity?”

I did not join a fraternity because I would not subject myself to humiliation, abuse or forced alcohol consumption. There have been numerous hazing deaths and serious life-changing injuries at some imitations. I can’t believe the colleges or fraternal orders allow it. But in the ‘70’s it was, I’m told, the norm.

When I was in college I was never forced to join a fraternity or even pledge. I guess they have new rules for college now.
