Count me as one of those.
I constantly get the solicitations to join, and then look at the groupings to find I’m not eligible. Guess we aren’t as good as the other guys?
Save the money, don’t piss off those who aren’t worthy.

I am a vet during Carter/Reagan and couldn't join the VFW. However I could join the American Legion because they consider the “Grenada invasion” in “83” acceptable time served.
