Can't tell ya, as I had my snoot buried in this thread instead. But that would be an illogical position, as state governors unfortunately have no control over the tenured communist and pervert whackjob propagandists infesting our colleges and universities.
I could be wrong, but I'll bet that the relationship between most state governments and "institutions of higher learning" is one of "benevolent grants" rather than direct budgetary appropriations based on accountability.
Nobody should be tenured. Not even baseball players.
Supreme Court justices should have a long term ... maybe 10 to 15 years, but not life.
College professors should never get tenure.
Colleges are losing popularity right now. They cost too much. They seem to give a sense of entitlement to the students while offering such pablum as women’s studies, black history and so on.
College has attained an unreasonable stature with a lot of people thinking you’re toast if you don’t go.
I just paid two plumber bills this month. Trade school would be a lot better for many people and they would make more money.
