“The Forum is more conservative than the electorate. We could very well be disappointed with the outcome.”

Starting with Reagan Republicans are generally at lot more disappointed in November when they elect ‘Moderates’, than when they elect conservatives.

That has been proven for 9 elections now since 1976. I guess we can nominate a moderate and be disappointed AGAIN if we chose not to accept history.

"WE", IMHO, implies a monolithic Republican electorate. That is simply not the case and is the reason I expressed my concern.
