You misunderstood my intent. I said “In general” because many people have immediately equated Cain’s and other candidate’s use of the phrase with a fanatical interpretation/use...and gone off on multi-page anti-religous tangents about it leading to some insane flame wars.
I did not refer or mean you personally. Thus the “In general” prefix. I totally agree actions better back up their words.
We are all leaders in one way or another. Fathers, employees, group activities, etc... we all must show Godly attributes throughout our lives.
Leaders however should show a Spiritual strength that is exemplary in their lives (Both public and private). We pick who represents us so actions (Future actions verbally addressed on a campaign trail) should be judged more than words.
Obama verbally addressed and acted on a platform of promoting abortion on demand, yet he and many others who support him claim to be Christian. That is a road to severe consequences...
