Of course I said “probably”, because I was speculating, not pronouncing my speculations as indisputable fact, unlike the way you presented your posts.
We have no reasonable way of knowing that Sandusky would have acted in the manner you describe, if McQueary had acted differently. What we do know is what happened because McQueary acted the way he did. The rapist eluded justice, and now we have no idea what ultimately happened to that particular victim.
For all we know, Sandusky could have killed the boy after being seen with him, just to eliminate a witness. Unless the victim is located, we can’t even say that McQueary not confronting Sandusky prevented him from killing the child, so you can’t even fairly speculate that McQueary’s actions prevented that.
