I asked why he told ANYONE, including his father, when it obviously would have been easier to just walk away and ignore the whole incident.

Uh dude. He was shaken up. Sometimes you just gotta talk to someone. Especially after looking into the eyes of a ten year old being raped and not doing anything about it...

If any normal person saw a child being raped and just walked away, it would haunt them for the rest of their life. Actually, anyone who saw a child being raped and just walked away is not normal. Andyone who doesn’t try to stop it is not normal. McQueary is not normal. There’s something wrong with his moral compass.
