Yes, I can say, with 100% certainty what I would have done in that situation.

I think the analogy is appropriate. Seeing Sandusky in the shower with a minor boy had to be a total shock...something he was never prepared for. McQ clearly did not have the wherewithall to act as you feel he should have. He's clearly not the man that you are. Clearly all men who are not the superheroes that you are need to be wiped from the earth so that only a super race reamins.

The fact of the matter is that when different people witness (without any forwarning) what McQueary witness then they will react differently. The fact that McQueary could immediately assess what was going on, and immediately couldn't move in and stop the act is something that many others would do. We can't get rid of all of the people on the planet who don't do everything exactly right, the first time, every time.

I came late to this story and just getting caught up in the details, but this Mc Q guy looks to be the first break in trust in the entire chain of adults that should have protected that child. Looks like he reported it to the Coach who reported to the upper echelon and nothing was done. Had McQ smacked the crap out of the old bugger and called the police no one but the bugger and his enablers would be on trial in this matter.

Pedophiles are clever and sneaky and quite adept at covering their tracks.
