I stand corrected. I was relying on a story which stated unequivocally that McQ testified to the grand jury in 2002. However, McQ really did make his report, first to Paterno, then to the other administrators, in 2002. After that, he had no direct involvement in the case until the grand jury. So it makes no sense for some people to single him out as the villain.

I'm someone who has reported crime and been sneered at by the cops, and I know others who have. PA is among our more corrupt States, and McQ grew up there.
