I know, let’s give McCreary a free pass. That’ll fix everything.

No, not a free pass...but the reality is that the Attorney General wants more victims to come forward. When victims and their families see another witness (McQueary) being threatened...they are going to hesitate to come forward.

Correct. Prosecutors give a pass to people much worse than McQ in return for testimony against bigger targets.

Incidentally, McQ had only been at PSU as a coach since 2000, after washing out with the pros. His career options weren't great at that point, and yet people think he should have played the role of a cop against a national figure with connections out the wazoo, all by himself. He did report what he saw, and his testimony was ignored at the time.

Don’t follow your logic. The DA putting pressure on McCreary has nothing to do with getting kids who may have been abused to come forward. Afterall, there is strength in numbers. Hell, there are already something like 8 kids we know about. Remember, too, these are kids from dydfunctional families. Won’t be hard for lawyer scum to sign up kids to come “forward” who were not abused if a mom, dad or guardian thinks there may be money in it for them.

Penn State is in deep, deep doodoo here. All because of the choices it’s made over the years. In the late sixties it went hard left politically. Marxism was injected to every curriculum—including the sciences.

Succeeding school presidents have supported that decision. Choosing Spanier, a sociologist for president has been a disaster. He’s probably gay or a switch hitter. He vowed to make PSU the most gay and lesbian friendly university in the country. This included the opening of the first gay fraternity at Penn State. He’s the guy that instituted the “Tent of Consent” at Penn State. Guess what that’s all about? And he’s the guy who brought the Spring Cuntfest (no misspelling) to Penn State. He’s also the guy that embraced the Climate Change (aka global warming) fraud. The “science” of two Penn State profs who’ve led that charge has been proven to be wrong or outright fraudulent. They have not been sanctioned by the university.

And under Spanier’s tenure a professor felt comfortable enough to float a memo saying military vets should be marginalized because they were disreuptive. Trasnslation: They challenge the school’s Marxist agenda. Unfortunately for Penn State the memo got into the public domain.

McCreary’s best bet is to be a cooperating prosecution witnesss. He committed a moral and legal crime. If he does the right thing now he may be able to atone somewhat for his bad behavior. That may earn him some consideration with a judge. God is another matter.
