Here is my theory. These women have been advised to wait until the stakes are higher. If Cain wins the nomination, look for these accusations to resurface. Democrat interest groups have plenty of money and many ways to compensate these accusers without leaving a clear trail to follow the money. If Cain wins the nomination, more accusers will surface. You can take that prediction to the bank.

I think having Lin Wood preface Herman’s presser the other day was brilliant. Essentially, it meant you'd better be rock solid as an accuser or we're gonna sue the you know what out of you. Seems to have quieted the rabble down considerably.

"If Cain wins the nomination, more accusers will surface."

This may have been true had Cain not have hired L. Lin Wood. However, hiring Atty. Wood was a game changer.

Nope. PR doesn’t work that way. Having given them the chance now, if they try to resurface later they then become a bad joke. Having had one smear blow up in their faces, the Junk Media cannot risk their all ready shaky credibility bringing it BACK up later.

the media lives on plausible deniablity. Trying to resurrect these people will hurt them more then it will Cain and they know it.

I beg to differ. I think the timing is everything and there is a shelf life on this story. The main population will move on and they will have lost their opportunity. Americans have a short attention span.

Your concern is well-founded, which is probably one of the reasons Cain retained the services of Lin Wood. Should Cain get the nomination, I am confident that Wood will be well ahead of the curve on this matter and the Cain team will be much better prepared than they were a couple weeks ago.

That may be true, but they will look like whackjobs at that point.

Quit worrying over nitwits.

Certainly would make smart sense, on their part.
No doubt some of these women may have been scared by the Woods lawyer threat. Like you say, if the stakes grow, so will the pressure to come forward.

Don’t know much about Woods beyond Jewell, Ramseys and Condit, its highly likely some bigger gun could show up to stand with them.

It is not a smart move for Cain to expect this thing to just evaporate. He better find a GOOD way to resolve it, NOW.
