I think establishment types are probably still with Romney. His numbers have remained pretty constant. I think the Perry crowd has to find a place to go, and with Cain so hostile towards Perry (and so chummy about Romney) it makes sense they'd take a pass on Cain.

Then there are people like me, who have been looking at the field and waiting to make a decision. If the top three are Romney, Cain, and Newt, then it's a pretty easy call for Newt.

And easy call if you want to repeat the same mistake Conservatives made with Bush. So once again we should repeat the same mistake we made in 2000 thinking a glib slick talking old GOP Establishment water boy is going to go to DC and act like a Conservative.
