The valor of our veterans can never be captured fully in ceremonies or tributes and certainly not in a single letter. But it can be recognized, celebrated and remembered nonetheless by all of us who breathe the air of freedom they so heroically defended. To all veterans, we offer the gratitude of a great nation, and our best wishes for a long and happy life lived forevermore in peace.

Have you no limits to your shallowness on Veteran's Day? (Or any other day for that matter.)

Truly Pathetic, all three of you.

"DITTO" that.
God bless all our enlisted and veterans today and everyday.
Rick Perry, thank you for your service, even when others don't.
To: twhitak
At least Perry served. The person in the W.H. now would never serve.
To: casinva
What a wonderful letter honoring those who give all so we can be free.

Could you at least shut up about Perry here and read his tribute to those who served so you can be free to post stupid crap.
This wasn’t about Perry but the veterans. You should be ashamed to be so shallow that you can’t put aside your partisan politics for this one thread that was about honoring those who serve or served.

I feel sorry for you. You think trolling this thread made you look good? I would think that as a veteran you could at least read the letter and see that it wasn’t about Perry but simply honoring those who served. Shame on you for putting petty politics first here.
