Ward said nearly 70 law enforcement agencies nationwide use the voice software, including the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office.

Ward said the technology is a scientific measure that law enforcement use as a tool to tell when someone is lying and that it has a 95 percent success rate.

I also heard this morning that many insurance companies use this software to analyze the voices of claimants - they can find places where their stories are untrue and zero in on those to avoid insurance fraud.....

I’ll gladly concede that when it comes to aggressive lying, Cain is comfortably within the top five percent.

They should test the software on Cain's claim that he never said he was against auditing the Fed, or that he never called audit supporters ignorant, or that he’s “prolife” with “no exceptions” but government shouldn’t make that decision, or that he didn’t remember any details of Karen Kraushaar’s claims, or that he didn’t remember any financial settlement, or that he’d traced the media leak to the Perry campaign...
