Before serving as the Mayor’s Chief of Staff she held various responsible positions with the City of Chicago including that of First Deputy Commissioner of the Department of Planning and Development and Director
Ms. O’Grady holds an undergraduate degree from St. Mary’s College in Notre Dame, Indiana, where she majored in humanistic studies; a graduate degree from the London School of Economics, where she concentrated her studies in urban planning; and a law degree from the University of Notre Dame.
