Sandusky was reportedly on campus last week!!!! The entire timeline on Sandusky is nothing more than a university and coaching staff enabling a sexual predator and turning a blind eye. They are complicit in the crimes and should pay the price.
End PSUs season now. Let the players transfer to any school they want with no penalty of sitting out. Fire every single football staff member. Fire campus security. Gut the AD department and the entire administrative staff. And burn the football facilities to the ground.
Start over from scratch.
That is absolutely what should be done. I think they need to eliminate the football program for an extended period of time. I am so ashamed to have been a PSU fan. And to think, I thought I had hit my lowest point as a football fan when the Eagles signed Mike Vick.

From what I told by another Freeper, "most of the kids were from a charity fund that Sandusky had set up for neglected, no father figure etc." The question is, was Paterno involved in this charity program.
Your feelings mirror mine. Shut it down, fire everybody and start over next year. Let the players get out of there and go somewhere else to start over without restriction from the NCAA. If you were one of those kids, would you want to go to Columbus and Madison the next two weeks? What bowl game would want to host PSU after what is the worst sports scandal that I can remember in my lifetime?
I can honestly say that this is the first time since I was a little kid that I don’t really want to watch the Huskers. I get sick to my stomach everytime I think about the game on Saturday. I think it will at best be a bizarre spectacle and at worst a horrible debacle. I feel terrible for these 20 year old kids on both teams who have to be absolutely dreading having to participate in this thing.
My heart goes out to the PSU fans out there. As a guy who grew up and still lives proudly in a state where life revolves around football, I can’t imagine the heartbreak of the folks in western PA and around the country who, I understand, love the Nittany Lions like we love the Big Red here in Huskerland. I know I would be devastated.
Just a little side note, Graham Spanier, or “Grammy Spammy” as we used to call him, signed my diploma. Yikes.

Apparently some rioting going on at at Penn State. A whole bunch of idiots more concerned about sports than about a serial homosexual predator pedophile and a whole bunch of important people who covered up for him. Absolutely beyond disgusting. I only read one page of the thread so far, but I'm really surprised at so many comments making light of the molesting - 8 boys that are known about - and a vile predator who took advantage of boys from broken homes, probably had many more than 8 victims. Everyone single person who know of the rapes of children deserves prison. And the rapist deserves execution.
In the grand jury finding there was a story about a janitor catching Sandusky with one of the kids. Apparently he was so upset about it he nearly had a heart attack. He told his co-workers and his boss but no one did anything. Apparently everyone was afraid of losing their job. Imagine what kind of atmosphere of intimidation must have existed at the football facilities for all of them to think that.
That wasn't a security guard but a University Police detective. That warning was just about all that came out of an official police investigation into allegations of child molestation.
The fact that the law didn't bring charges against Sandusky is one of the things that make me feel sympathetic towards the position Paterno found himself in.
think Micheal Jackson....having young boys sleep in his bed....and think of all the people that protected him....because of money....
