If you're Paterno and if Paterno is half the man he's been presented to be, don't you ask for a very detailed account? Don't you walk McQueary to the Police? Don't you call Sandusky and inform him he's no longer welcome in your locker room?

The reality is that if JoePa didn't want Sandusky allowed within the state lines of Pennsylvania again, he probably could have made it happen.

My suspicion is that his quest for legacy in wins and for control of the football program and going out on his own terms trumped his moral and ethical compass. Any weakness coming to public light, even with him taking the appropriate measures, would have probably brought about his retirement back in 1998 - when this all should have happened.

Paterno knew that something sexual was involved, and said so in the Grand Jury, so open your eyes.
