Me neither. I don’t see how their season can go on. I think the admin at PSU made a move in the right direction tonite but this is so much more than that. This isn’t kids cheating academically or getting free cars or even hookers and blow. This is a revered group of coaches, led by an icon who won more games than any coach in history, covering up for and allowing continued access to a child rapist. For over a decade.
I talked to alot of friends at work and to my buddies, all college football nuts like myself, and we all pretty much agreed that PSU continuing on this year would only ultimately make things worse. The taint from this deal is not gonna get washed away by firing JoePa and a bunch of admins. Shut it down now, fire the staff and bring in a straight shooter head coach and bunch of likewise assistants.
Can you imagine going out to recruit if you are an assistant coach associated with this? I would not want to sit down in a living room with parents trying to sell them on Penn State if I was there when this happened even if I had nothing to do with it. What a horrible deal this is.
