I have many questions about the whole mess...something is fundamentaly wrong.
i asked that same question...there was a story on Monday on ESPN that evidently sandusky went to the house of one of his victims and apologized to the mother a while ago....
Because Sandusky founded a charity called The Second Mile thirty four years ago to help disadvantaged kids. This enabled him to look for and gain access to children from troubled homes who had little parenting.
Pedophiles look for an easy mark with no support.
Sandusky was able to get away with this for three and a half decades.

Some did. Read the report. One even got cops to hide in their home to hear Sandusky’s confession. the police questionably shut the case down soon after.
Perhaps because the Alumni Association & Football Boosters paid them off and told them to keep quiet?
Or, perhaps being “at risk” youth means they don’t have any parents, or their parents aren’t around to look after them. “At Risk” youths appear to be the victims of choice for pedophiles.
