Note too that Stifler's Mom Sharon Bialek's lawyer, Gloria Allred taunts Cain for hiring power attorney, Lin Wood: "He can't handle this himself," she says. Indeed. So what?
You've heard the phrase "soft bigotry of low expectations" applied to blacks when it comes to affirmative action policies in our educational institutions and work places, right? This same soft bigotry is seen expressed towards Muslims, Palestinians, or other minority groups who are given passes on issues such as morality, civil behavior, and decency that normally earn condemnation in non-minority circles (Christianity, Judaism, or Western Civilization in general). What often goes unmentioned is the soft bigotry if not outright bigotry towards women who are given passes on things that deserve scrutiny, examination, and often correction or condemnation. Here's a quick example: It's widely understood that a man is supposed to control his sexual nature (read: eyes, toungue, and general distance) when women--especially at the workplace--show cleavage, a lot of leg, or wear an outfit that hugs the body so tightly that it practically makes the woman naked. It would be deemed weak, pathetic, over-board, or unmanly if a man were to report such a woman for sexual harassment. "Don't look then!" you would probably hear in a snarky tone. BUT when a women feels she may be in any way sexually harassed--often after "sexually harassing" men with her general lack of clothing--she is given full and immediate legitimacy and is coddled and supported no matter how unsubstantiated or unintentional the man's motives are.
In other words, society's general default is that women need unquestioned support and sympathy when faced with any possible affliction rooted in man's inherent troubled and always suspect sexuality. On the other hand, when women exploit their sexuality men need to suck it up, turn away, and deal with it.
Allred's claim that Cain "can't handle this himself" indirectly fits into the example I just made regarding the soft bigotry of low expectations our society has for women. This is not a positive advancement in civilization.
BTW: If Cain lawyerd up because he wants to intimidate women--as Allred said--does this mean that Sharon Bialek lawyered up because she wants to intimidate men? Ya see--soft bigotry.
Allred: Cain Lawyered Up Because He Wants To "Intimidate" Women
speaking of lawyering-up, how does an unknown woman with two bankruptcies (and rumors that a third may be imminent) get to be the client of a high profile celebrity lawyer, one from halfway across the country at that, and appear on national press events — all within days?
And who’s picking up the tab for this? Anyone thing Gloria works for free? Airfare, hotels, time off work, etc...
Especially since Glwhoria Allred woudln’t even return Kathleen Willey’s phone call after she was groped by a sitting President (who happened to be a Democrat).
I will double the money I am sending to Cain so you can continue your tradition with my blessing.
And stick a dead fish in the arrangement in honor of good ol’ Chicago politcs for me, will ya?
As long as there is a camera in the area with a functioning red tally light the camera whore will seek to be intimate with it.
She has jumped in to attack Herman Cain for, as her client says, touching a woman's leg yet Allred gave money to the campaigns of serial offender Bill Clinton and Gary Hart, both who actually had sex with women not their wives.

That’s got to be worth at least a million dollars in campaign contributions and 5 points in the polls!!
Only a liberal could make the claim that hiring a lawyer to defend one’s self is wrong while simultaneously BEING A LAWYER HIRED BY SOMEONE TO ALLEGEDLY DEFEND ONE’S SELF!! It hurts the brain how hypocritical liberals can be.
I hope Cain’s “power lawyer” has some “power private detectives” working to uncover the links between the 0bama-Axelrod-DNC-Clinton axis and the smear. This thing has to be blown open before Cain gets hurt in the primaries. The other GOP candidates and the GOP establishment will never pursue it if Cain is pushed aside.
Bingo! Allred has made her reputation as a character assasin by intimidating the people she accuses in the media. A hit and run tactic she has successfully used in the past to besmirch other republicans running for office. (think Meg Whitman and her ID stealing maid.) She trots people out in front of the cameras, makes her point and then disappears back under her rock.
This time, her “mark” isn’t going to let her get away with it. I’m sure Cain brought out the attorney from Atlanta for one reason and one reason only. It was to send a message to Allred that this time, she may have to actually appear in a court of law as a defendant to a libel suit and explain to the judge her actions.
Even though Cain is a “public figure,” he can collect libel damages if he can show the charges made against him were made maliciously, had no basis in fact, and damaged his reputation. Allred trotted out her “client”, made damaging statements to the media, and accompanied her client on the morning talk show circuit.
If she’s smart, Allred may want to consider “lawyering-up” herself. Ask the Atlanta Journal Constitution. They had to pay a very large settlement to the estate of Richard Jewel, the security guard they accused of being the Olympic Centennial Park bomber. His attorney...L.Lin Wood, the one who introduced Cain yesterday.
Gloria, be afraid....very afraid.
Looks like somebody finally got the complete and undivided attention of Gloria. It was also apparent how fast CBS and AP brought out the story of #1 causing more troubles after leaving the NRA.
Dumb statement All Red.
Maybe Cain lawyered up because he wants to prosecute YOU.
Her client claimed Herman Cain reached under her skirt and touched he genitals, make you wonder if she wore any panties?
Well, there is a lesson in all this.
Do not settle with accusers making frivolous sexual harassment charges. Just don’t do it. That wasn’t Cain’s fault since this is corporate policy for a lot of company’s and organizations. None of this would have amounted to anything if there were no agreements that involved payouts. The fact that those existed opened the door to all the rest of this stuff.
Looking at the history of these women and all of them appear to be suspicious, litigious and opportunistic. None of them so far would be believable by themselves. Without those legal agreements that involved cash payouts, I don’t think any of this would be happening.
So no conservative should ever allow any kind of frivolous sexual harassment charge to be result in any kind of agreement that makes it appear the accuser had a case. This Cain situation proves it is just too likely to come back to haunt a person in the future - especially for anyone with political ambitions.
The trouble is that it took years for Jewel to be vindicated. Cain doesn't have that kind of time, and I'm sure the conspirators knew this going in.
And Allred is already "lawyered up." I think she's nothing but a puppet of the shadowy Demonrat crime machine. Maybe the Holder Justice Dept. will file briefs on her behalf.
There are some who are saying Herman Cain is guilty of attempted rape. I don't believe he is guilty of anything more than being surrounded by idiots. I certainly don't believe that touching someone is attempted rape. Then again, I'm not a stupid liberal.
You are correct. Truth is, he died before the lawsuit was settled and the estate was the ultimate “winner.”
The difference is, someone finally has the “brass” to stand up and not cower under the scrutiny. I don’t think they understand that he truly is “in it to win it.”
Why did Bialek lawyer up?
Why does a woman who has no legal case to pursue hire a lawyer to smear a political candidate? Is it that she is afraid her smears could land her a slander suit and she needs to be told when to lay off the rhetoric?
That’s similar to when Hillary wanted to make sure her own husband had plenty of lawyers to fight his impeachment; but didn’t think Pres. Nixon should have any lawyers to represent him at all at his impeachment! Or, she thought he should have only one! This was coming from a lawyer who was one of her supervisors at the time of Watergate. The funny thing was (I think this lawyer was by the name of Jerome Zeifman?) he supported the election of George W. Bush!
