I'm hoping to learn lots of interesting new things, like how many children Michelle Bachmann has, or the name of Herman Cain's tax plan, or whether Rick Perry wants America to become energy independent. I also wait with baited breath to see if Newt Gingrich will tell off a moderator or if Mitt Romney will throw his back out doing flip-flops. /s
You're so right. These debates now consist of repetition verging on parody and now serve to give more opportunities for the left to trap/embarrass/insult a bunch of Republicans. Eight was enough, but we have something like ten more to go.
But I'll watch because the FR live threads are more entertaining that way.

Or is it because your preferred candidate is up against the ropes and going another few rounds might result in a total KO?
I would guess if your preferred candidate was doing well, cleaning the stage, looking presidential, you'd be telling all how valuable, informative and how these debates give critical close up insight to the candidates themselves.
Just guessing though. I could be wrong.
