"He could go down as one of the most important President's this country has seen in a long time"

Powerful people on both sides are doing everything they can to get him out of the race.

There is a tremendous mess in D.C. that will need to be cleaned up, should the Marxist be voted out of office. (Expect the White House to be trashed again, like in 2000..

Glenn Beck has said that being the president in 2012 is going to be tough as can be. It's going to get worse before it gets better. The president needs to be able to lead through dark times.

IMHO Herman Cain is the right sort of person for the job, if he can get past all the feces being thrown at him, by both sides.

Perhaps a call to Sarah Palin might be beneficial- No one has more experience at dealing with media/dem/rino attacks than she has.

He's done a good job so far, but he should be ready for "anything" from these people. They are desperate to get him out of the race.

Pray for him to be successful at overcomimg these obstacles.

I think that Cain would be better off with Newt at his side. Newt knows what to expect and he knows how to handle anything that is thrown at them. I like Palin but she is no Newt.

Yesterday, Limbaugh downplayed a caller's suggestion that Democrats are more worried about Cain than the other candidates because Cain might well take a serious portion of the black vote.

Limbaugh's wrong. This business has Obama written all over it. As Coulter points out, how can Obama claim racism when his opponent's a black man.

I’m not a Cain supporter any longer, but I agree with most of what Sowell says. My biggest gripe about this particular case is the way Cain and his campaign is handling this. Even if he’s as innocent as can be, the changing stories just plain look bad. I have other reasons for not supporting Cain, but he got a really raw deal with the media.

I've been trying to convey the same notion for days at FR. Dr. Sowell says it so much better and with much fewer words:

The motivation is far more likely to be politics, but politics makes a prominent black conservative like Clarence Thomas or Herman Cain far more dangerous to the Democrats than an equally prominent white conservative.

The 90 percent black vote for Democrats is like money in the bank on election day. A prominent black conservative who offers an alternative view of the world is a serious danger politically, because if that alternative view has the net effect of reducing the black vote for Democrats just to 75 percent, the Democrats are in big trouble at election time.

In this political context, merely defeating a black conservative at the polls or at confirmation hearings is not enough. He must be destroyed as an influence in the future — and character assassination is the most obvious way to do it.

And that is precisely why I believe this entire false charge lynching is a hatchling straight from the putrefactive democrat nest. Sadly, conservatives are fallen into the trap of blaming one or another GOP figure running for the nomination.

The accuser seems to have embellished her story. She said that Cain put his hand under her dress and “reached for her genitals”.

“reached”? How does the lady know what Cain was reaching for unless he actually touched her there?

There’s plenty more stuff between the hem of a dress and genitals that if handled without invitation would have qualified as assault, not merely sexual harassment. But Cain didn’t touch anything on his way to not touching anything? This doesn’t hang together.

Uh oh, does this mean you won’t have dinner with me in the future, thinking I am ‘hitting on you’? ... I’m just Lazamataz’s ‘attorney of record’, not in his League of Extradubiuos Gentlemen.

Under the current legal system, a lawsuit is a more predictable winner than a “Powerball” ticket.

The real scandal is that the law allows people to impose heavy costs on others at little or no cost to themselves.

Yes, it is.

the real scandal is that we are now to have Politburo Soviet-Style elections...with only “approved” candidates with the stamp of The Party-the RinoCracy- being allowed to run.
