Right on cue, Fox News went out and the EAS Emergency activation screen came up:
A Primary Entry Point has initiated an Emergency Action Notification
I was watching cable and listening to a local news station. The local radio station’s message got cut off after about 10 seconds...there was nothing for 30 MORE seconds, and the 3 EOM (End Of Message) tones came on.
If I was watching cable, I’d have heard the whole message. If I was listening to that particular radio station, I’d have heard part of it. Methinks the engineer of that station (KOMO) has some work to do.
We survived, Barry the Boob didn’t declare a takeover, and life goes on as (whatever you may consider) normal.
Holy cow, all my tv's blew up! That wasn't supposed to happen was it?
I was using Dish Network Fox News, no pause, just the anchor saying this is a test.. no noise just her pretty face with a smile and talking the whole time explaining about the test. Nothing happened.
