“If the vote were between Perry and Obama, I would wholeheartedly support Perry. But until then, I believe that Herman Cain is the best candidate.”
For sure. First, we TRUST Cain, whereas we have no clue what to expect from Perry...except for immigration-related issues. Second, the Dems (and/or RINOs) have pretty much shot their wad at Cain. I doubt that they have much more, or they’d be using it...they DO NOT want Cain making it into the general election. But who knows what they have on Perry. Yes, Perry was in the lead, but it was a very short time, and I don’t thing the Dems minded him being the candidate (being such a flake)...so they kept quiet for now, as they’ve done with Newt and Michelle.
Interesting about that Gardasil thing. I was asked to do an article about Gardasil and was rather shocked to see Perry in TX of all things pushing it. CA, I could see, but TX? What a millstone! Why did he do that? I don’t understand.
Agree wholeheartedly with your statement that Perry didn’t do much which is part of what made him a good governor. Rather then getting in the way, he let Texas’s natural advantages come into play.
