My husband was accused of similar things by a woman he worked with. She made a pass at him knowing he was married. What she didn’t know was what I looked like. She made the pass in front of me.
After he told her no, she filed the charges. She did the same thing with 2 other men at the same company. Finally she got fired.
If you had bitch-slapped her, the other two men wouldn’t have encountered the same problem; and you would have been a hero to the other men and their wives.
My brother-in-law was running for city council. During the campaign, some idiot published a photo of him with a “much younger woman” snuggling up in a restaurant booth. The “much younger woman” ended up being his own wife. They were high school sweethearts and graduated the same year. They had been married for 20+ years.
He lost the election after holding the spot for years.
