A WHOLE LOT of CYA going on right now at Pedophile State. Just watch, they are going to try and hang this whole thing on PATERNO, and force him out, rather than the Administration taking the heat.
I’d bet attorney phones are ringing off the hook in State College and Harrisburg today.

D. about it.....(question)why didn't he report it to the police(which he is legally and morally) bound to do?

I'm not sure how much you have read about this story. However, he had a grad assistant (McQuarry) who saw Sandusky actually sodomizing a boy in the shower. He went to his dad and the dad and him went to Joepa about it. The only thing Joepa did was tell the AD. He didn't tell the police or anyone else. It sounds like Sandusky's "punishment" was being told he couldn't bring boys into the facilities anymore. Huh????
Yeah, Joepa may not be legally responsible in any way since he reported it to someone in "higher authority". But seriously, do you think the athletic director at Penn State is higher up the chain than JoePa? Really? They wanted to keep Penn State out of the limelight on this one (IMO). Joepa should have went to the police. When the administration dropped the ball, Joepa should have pressed them and then told the cops. Yes, he may not be legally responsible, but he certainly has moral culpability.

Anyone who knew about these incidents and didn't notify law enforcement should be gone, IMHO - and that includes Paterno. It's absolutely incredible and absolutely monstrous that this pedophile Sandusky felt perfectly safe raping children on campus - he acted like he knew Penn State coaches, employees and officials wouldn't turn him in, and they didn't.
