ABC Chicago station WLS looks into Sharon Bialek’s background (via Drudge):

The public record on Bialek begins in 1991 when she filed personal bankruptcy for the first time while living in Des Plaines.

Between 1993 and 1996 Bialek worked for four different companies in promotion and marketing positions. …

In 1999, Bialek’s son Nicholas was born and a paternity lawsuit was filed by the father, a media executive.

In 2001 came Bialek’s second personal bankruptcy, filed after sizable legal bills. That year she was hired by WGN radio where she worked until 2004 when she took a marketing job and then a job at WCKG radio.

Andrew Breitbart’s Big Government is reporting that they have confirmed Bialek definitely attended the TeaCon 2011 conference in Chicago that she mentioned confronting Herman Cain at during her press conference, and that Bialek voted in the Republican primary in 2008.

UPDATE: The Chicago Tribune has more details on Bialek’s financial woes over the years, although according to her fiancee, she is currently comfortably financially.

Gasp! Would you just look at Cain’s left hand. He is copping a feel even in this picture. Seriously, I want to hear from the two other men in this photo to verify that Cain even knew the names of anyone in this photo. Very few photo ops does the target of the photo op actually know the name of anyone in the photo.

The first implies it's current and that's what I replied to. The second is even more explicit that it's current. I read both and replied to the first.

One attorney has opined that what is alleged was “criminal sexual assault”, not “sexual harassment”, and thus has accused Mr. Cain of a felony. This opens the door for him, like anyone who is falsely accused of a crime, to file a civil suit for defamation, i.e. damage to his reputation.

A lawyer opining that what was alleged is "criminal sexual assault" is not defamation. Merely saying that if Cain did what this woman says he did, then it was a felony is not saying that Cain did what he was accused of doing.

With regards to the underlying allegations, as a public figure, it would be very difficult for Cain to bring a successful defamation claim. He would have to prove that this woman made these allegations knowing that they are false. Without some piece of damning evidence (e.g., a current admission that she was lying), it would be nearly impossible for Cain to prove the falsity of a story that allegedly occurred 15 years ago.

Yep - Sean mentioned it tonight on his show. And, though I didn’t hear it completely, also thought he said that the boyfriend worked on BHO’s campaign.
