FWIW there are drills about the national emergency alert system, pacific tsunami warning exercise, and a different near earth object called olefin in our neck of the woods all in the next week.

There was a large earthquake in Taiwan this evening (6.9). Who knows, the comet may be pulling at our gravity. It will be interesting to see if there are additional seismic activity in the next few days.
