Republican presidential hopeful Herman Cain will hold a press conference in Scottsdale Tuesday in response to recent allegations of harassment.

According to a statement from the Cain campaign, Cain will hold to the conference at the Scottsdale Plaza at 3 pm.

“I know what happened, and he knows what happened,” Bialek said on CNN’s Piers Morgan Tonight. “One of my whole objectives was to give him the opportunity to come forward, to redeem himself, say, ‘Hey, I’m sorry. I did this. It happened. And let’s move forward.’ And it is unfortunate. I’m very disappointed that he didn’t take the lead in this.”

She said in the interview that she was prepared for an expected media onslaught, but was more concerned about how it would affect her teenage son

What about abortion? Cain is pro life, so what’s your problem.

the last time the GOP did anything remotely like drafting a nominee at their convention, they threw away Reagan and gave us Ford in '76.

and he had his own womanizing issues.

How does drafting a candidate at the convention work, anyone know? Mitt is still in the 20’s, we just have to keep him from getting over 50% for the first ballot then we can draft Sarah or someone decent.

Don’t hold me to this because it might have changed but it used to be that after several (I think 2 ballots but maybe more), and the vote is still deadlocked, delegates are then released to vote otherwise.

Cain lost my vote when he stated that there were no sexual, harrassment settlements, then backtracked and said there were...his credibility was gone at that point.

If you've been paying attention you KNOW VERY WELL that the NRA has stated that Cain was not involved in the SEVERANCE money and had NO KNOWLEDGE of it.

If you didn't know, you do now just like the rest of us do. And when Cain was updated AFTER the current smear attempt he made the correction. He DID NOT LIE.

Did you sign up today just to pretend he did? Is that you Axelrot?

Why it is our conservative candidates need to be as clean as the Pope every moment of their lives (and be able to prove it), while the leftist pukes can put ANY immoral, drug-snorting pervert in office, and we’re ruthlessly attacked for even bringing up the subject?

So true. JFK used to get it on with multiple women while president and he had the Secret Service tip him off when Jackie was heading back to the WH. It is even rumored that Marilyn Monroe's "suicide" was related to the WH hanky-panky. And that's just scratching the surface of one Dem president.

I am holding my fire on Herman Cain until I hear him respond formally to these charges later today. If he denies the charges, I will take him at his word and stand with him. If he admits to it, I will still support him nevertheless as I will appreciate the honesty and will chalk his behavior up to how many powerful men act. The only thing I would not forgive would be if he comes out today and gives a mealy-mouthed evasive explanation - you know, a Bill Clinton type response - that will confuse things and allow for more future bimbo eruptions to distract us from the campaign.

So all Herman Cain has to do for me is step up to the plate like a man and either deny it (if it didn't happen) or own up to it (if it did happen) with no apologies. Either way, he'll have my vote.

Fact: No one from the NRA or any other organization involved with Mr. Cain has run to the forefront to defend Mr. Cain’s honor. Doesn’t that make you wonder? The only people defending him are people who don’t really know him...but believe in him because Sarah, the previous idol, dropped out of the race.

I always wonder because the corrupt elite of today have no character standards for themselves and each other. No peer pressure to do the right thing. Money and power is it. Even most of those who run a front of being good Christians don’t feel bound by old fashioned ethics and human dignity.

Actually there were several people from the NRA who DID give testimonials to Cain’s good character and decency. I don’t remember the names and I’m not going to look them up for you. You can ask around FR to see if anyone else remembers or do you own Google search, but there were MANY.

I feel pretty much the same way as you do on this. If anything, I think things are trumped up.

More than than the accusation what is important for me is to see how Cain handles this today. He should be bringing a lawsuit against the woman and that Allpink lawyer in order to force them to present the witnesses, and he should say he will take a lie detector test and challenges the woman to do the same. IF it is truly a hit piece then he has to slamdunk this right now to get this all to stop. He should send out the message that anyone who wants to make an accusations better have evidence...if not these will NOT stop coming. Anyone can say anything they want if they are only “sharing” what happened and don't intend a lawsuit.
Seriously, he needs to knock this out of the park in a presidential way.

The only reason he is being attacked is because he is the ONLY one who can beat Obama. So, which Conservative do you think can win? Come on, find one...you won’t.

“I'm down to counting on the GOP coming to its senses and drafting someone decent in their convention.”

Really? Every election conservatives rarely like the candidate because the RINO establishment chose them. I have no illusion that nothing but a RINO would get put forward if any of these candidates failed to get the majority.

Besides, there are more conservative minded candidates now then in past elections. No way did President Bush represent true conservatism. I know many people here love Sarah, but if we think Cain is getting a beating in the Media it would be nonstop with Sarah. I believe Sarah would have a more difficult time defeating Obama in a general election than what Cain would have...but who knows all those independent women who don't like Sarah could change their minds, and it will be the independents who decide this next election.

So what you are saying is, that men must walk on eggs while women can wreck havoc indiscriminately and, anyway that they choose. This is certainly not the America that I know!

Yep. And it's not the America I know either. But it's the one that exists today.

Anyone hear apparently Cain took a photo with this woman a few months ago, and she appeared quite happy in the photo?

Even more suspicious on her part!

I also think the reason she was fired needs investigating...rumors are it was due to a false sex harassment claim.

Seriously?

People remember things later. He was asked about something that happened over a decade ago and is supposed to have crystal clarity?
