Prepare for something that DIDN”T HAPPEN???

Um... hello. His employer PAID OUT nearly 50,000 to a woman over allegations against him. Had he done his own due dillegence he should have known about this and been prepared to answer about it before even starting his campaign in earnest.

He should have know this was out there, should have known he was going to be questioned about it and should have had an answer for it. He struck out completely on this, missed all three, and then flailed around.

That's inaccurate. In that earlier scuffle-up, the complaint against Cain was with the NRA HR in July of 1999. He was no longer at NRA at that time. The complaint was against NRA, not Cain, though he was mentioned in the complaint. Probably in that case, she listed multiple issues, Cain was one of them. Likely they were all false or exaggerated charges, but NRA wanted to get rid of a bad employee in the office before she poisoned the whole place.
