They better cool it. Being flippant about this subject will not go well with evangelicals. Also gives the impression that they don’t take harassment allegations serious.

a word to the wise.

Better “cool it” or what? We’ll all switch to Rick “La Raza” Perry?

I wouldn’t take false accusations seriously either. this assault is nothing more than what Cain said it was to be. A lynching of sorts.

Me thinks the left is so horrified of Cain’s honesty and how well he’s doing in the polls that they will dig up 100 women is need be. But...here’s my question. Why ONLY women from this restaurant thing? Why not anyone from anywhere else? I think it’s the fact there were several bad eggs that didn’t like a black man in charge...or women (black or white) who wanted sexual attention and couldn’t get it from Cain, so here we are.

He has my vote if nominated, period. I’m a preacher’s kid and not all “evangelistic” folks are blind to a smear compaign when they see one.

Why should they take them seriously. They are a sick joke.

Even a neo-feminist thinks so: ‘Sexual Harassment’: The New ‘Slip and Fall’ (It’s time to treat them the same)

He’s being flippant about Gloria Allred, the media hound from hell. Not sexual harrassment. I think you know that.

Not an evangelical, so I need to ask... It is important to them to sit idly by while being slandered? Are people supposed to merely allow their character be attacked with no evidence of misdeeds?

Do they think people should let their careers and lives be destroyed by anonymous attacks?

You are so right. That comment sounds as if they must have know something more was coming. Flippancy is not Presidential, as we all know from the one in office now, it is beginning to wear thin.

I am for Newt, Cain, Perry, Bachman, Santoram, not necessarily in that order. Just have to add this before I get called a PerryBot or Perrywinkle, or some other "BOT".

“a word to the wise”

If there were any substance to these attacks, Let’s say they had video... and Cain crashed and burned, his supporters wound go to Newt not to Perry or Mitt.

They better cool it.

All that sideshow has is this woman whom had never came forward ( even in the 90's) before now and Allred's "clout". Whatever she claims will be years outside of the statute of limitations and unless she has a stained dress or fingerprints on a a stained cigar then it's a she-said-she-said non-issue.
All Cain has to do is deny any knowledge, & deny an harassment of this woman. He should comment once and then state that's all he's going to comment on this non-issue.

When women start coming forward from his Navy Intel days and his Burger King Days, etc I'll start to question the illegitimacy of these allegations. Until then they are all bunk. A person doesn't just become a serial philanderer all of a sudden and then stop all of a sudden.

Holier-than-thou Evangelicals are the one who should quit it. These allegations are comedic at best and ridiculous oversensitivity at worst. Nobody is perfect.

“They better cool it”.

...BS! Republicans have been “cooling it” and losing elections. This is simply taking a page out of Alinsky’s book and turning it on the commies. They won’t do well with it either.

And marty, we all know that you have Herman's best interests at heart.

Marty, keep your crappy advice, if you really want to help Herman, send money and after the second donation, just a little advice.

Thanks for today's advice word from the Romney campaign.

Word to the wise, when confronted with a sleazy political smear, the best response is to laugh at the smear-bots

Personally, I’m loving it - and you could call me evangelical. They are not talking about harassment allegations. They are talking about the harassment allegations against Cain.

There really is a huge difference. And if they can somehow blunt the harassment inequality that has been going on now (i.e. women claim it and it is therefore true by virtue of that simple fact), that is a good thing as well.

Yeah, Evangelicals are opposed to humor. (/s)

I am an evangelical, and I LOVE Cain’s response. Part of his appeal is that he’s fearless and un-PC. Gloria Allred needs to be mocked, and if nobody else has the guts to do it, Cain will step up to the plate.

I for one am tired of our candidates being unresponsive to this kind of garbage. It’s long past time for them attack and ridicule our enemies!
