I have posted this here before, but it is an important fact so I’ll post it again.

The word in the 1st Amendment is peaceably, not peacefully. Here is the definition of peaceably in Websters 1828 dictionary, the universal dictionary closest to the time of the 1st Amendment:

PE’ACEABLY, adv. Without war; without tumult or commotion; without private feuds and quarrels.

1. Without disturbance; quietly; without agitation; without interruption.

The Occupy group is not assembled peaceably, therefore, they do not qualify for protection under the 1st Amendment’s assembly clause.

No, but they let them get them, and other leftists get away with it to avoid another Kent State, and even protect them from counterprotesters. Upside down like everything else.
